Mother did her packing tonight. We brought home all our notebooks, etc. Passed in my health notebook. Read magazines in Science. Started “Lucky.” Advertisements

MONDAY, JUNE 19, 1933

Got C in my history note-book. After school Marion and I went to Mark St. to see an apartment. Got money for locker keys. Marion wrote postcard to Mr. C. Worked on Health notebook. Marion came and stayed till 5:45.

Weather very temperamental. Mary, Grandma, and I saw “Cavalcade” with Diana Wynward and Clive Brook and “Hello Sister” with James Dunn and Boots Mallory at the Jamaica.

SATURDAY, JUNE 17, 1933

Sunday School Picnic! Left church at 9:30 for Cedar Hill. Marion didn’t go. Weston didn’t, either, but Kenneth and Leo McDevitt were. Rode both ways with Ellsworth.

FRIDAY, JUNE 16, 1933

We read magazines in cooking. I got some grape jelly. We finished the girl’s program in music. Played Robin’s Lullaby. We had another rigmarole in English.

THURSDAY, JUNE 15, 1933

Wrote to Mr. Clarke. Worked on “ABC’s of Health” notebook. We had a concert in Music. I played “Pixie’s Song.” We had a rigmarole last period. What fun!!

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 14, 1933

Papa came today while I was at school and Mother wouldn’t see him. She had her tooth filled. We walked around pond. Throat was sore. Went to school doctor. Cool today.
