FRIDAY, APRIL 13, 1934

Snowed today. Came right home after school and read “Archer and the Prophet.” We went to the Rosedale tonight and saw “Miss Fane’s Baby is Stolen” and “By Candlelight.”

  1. What an original idea for a blog! If you started connecting these short entries to the importance in time of these events, you would have a screenplay or novel. Take today’s entry. Miss Fane’s Baby is based on the Lindbergh baby kidnapping, a huge news story in the headlines during production. It came out before the court case was completed. The baby was saved in the movie, the opposite of the horror of the real case. Plenty of character conflict to work with.

    • Thanks for the feedback, Mikey! Have thought about turning into a book or screenplay, but still have lots of content to transcribe and organize first! Also, have another related project underway, which I’ll be announcing in about a week! Check out my Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for updates!
