FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
HELEN MAY VINTAGE ANNOUNCES GRAND OPENING MOTHER’S DAY PROMOTION
Just in time for Mother’s Day, Helen May Vintage, a new shop on Etsy, announces its grand opening on Monday April 13, 2015. The first ten customers will each receive a free Mother’s Day card (choice of two designs). The shop will give away another ten cards via its Facebook page over the course of the week.
Specializing in vintage clothing, accessories, and collectibles, Helen May Vintage is named after Helen May Rickard, who was born in Boston in 1920 and chronicled her life’s events during the Great Depression and beyond in a daily diary.
The shop reflects fashion, culture, entertainment, and everyday life from this monumental period in history.
The shop’s growing inventory includes original Mother’s Day cards featuring vintage photos; vintage jewelry, hats, handbags, ephemera, collectibles, and other memorabilia.
Shop owners Betsy Williams of Redmond, OR and Becca Pollard of Portland, OR, are Helen May’s daughter and granddaughter. Williams is a long-time vintage collector and seller, who previously owned a vintage clothing store in SE Portland and had a booth in Stars Antiques. Pollard, a digital media professional, manages a blog of Helen May’s diaries.
