Marion came up after choir and taught me the operetta dance. She taught us both “North Poles.” Mother bought a grey coat which she’s gonna take back.

FRIDAY, MARCH 17, 1933

Marion came home with me from choir rehearsal. We listened to radio, and I practiced. Finished “Ruth Fielding.” We made tomato bisque in cooking. Ugh!

FRIDAY, MARCH 10, 1933

We made cottage pudding in school. Went to choir rehearsal. Stayed there for the Junior Alliance supper and meeting. Went to Harvard with Quincy girls. Saw Jupiter thru telescope. Had a lecture on stars.
