Uncle Dick came at 11:45 and drove us to Melrose. The Clarkes are there. I saw Kenneth Porter. Wallace rode home far as Summer St. with us. Listened to N.R.A. Allstar broadcast from 10:45 to 12. Advertisements

Mr. Clarke went to Winnipesaukee┬áthis morning. Nancy, Agnes, and I got up at 5:45 to come over to see him. Walked uptown. Bought candy. Took dog cart. Stomachache. Started our story — swell.
