TUESDAY, JULY 11, 1933

Sunday School Picnic. We went in Baldwins’ barge. Swam 3 times. Ride in motor boat. Water was swell and warm. Left at 10:30. Back at 6. F’s went to Hudson.

MONDAY, JULY 10, 1933

Mr. Clarke mailed my letter. Read all morning. Made butter taffy — gave F’s half. Washed clothes in machine. Scales in school didn’t work. Marion got mad — don’t know why.

Mr Clarke went to Boston concerning his teeth. Dinner at Fairbanks’. We went to Pine Lakes again. Marion wrote home. Green coat came. Took ride. Hose shower at F’s.

Letter from Grandma. We went to Pine Lakes to swim with the Fairbankses at 4. Played in barn. We took baths and cleaned the bathroom all up.
