Sewed on a blue silk dress in school. Grandma looked at some radios and tonight Mama and I looked at radio from here to the Blvd. We rode home in the cars.
I took showers today. Grandma got tired from packing all day, so I washed and wiped supper dishes. I spent the afternoon at Lily’s. Their radio was no good so they got another.
Lily and I are going to use the same dress pattern in sewing. We bought it from Nettie Kamer for .15. Lily has a new radio. Grandma washed my head.
Uncle Dick came at 11:45 and drove us to Melrose. The Clarkes are there. I saw Kenneth Porter. Wallace rode home far as Summer St. with us. Listened to N.R.A. Allstar broadcast from 10:45 to 12.
Letter from Mary Shandilis. Finished “Law O’ The Lariat.” Grandma made a cake. Got an airgun with my candy today. Dorothy didn’t come after getting a swell supper. Grandma sold the radio to Virginia for $10.
Got up about 11:30. Got a Holloway Sucker with an elastic ball and an airplane yesterday. Read my book “Law O’ The Lariat.” Listened to “Tarzan” and “Black and Blue.”
