SATURDAY, APRIL 7, 1934
Mama went in town. I went to the McGregor Library and finished “Isabel Carlton’s Friends.” Mama bought herself a darling navy blue swagger suit–$12.50.

SATURDAY, MARCH 17, 1934
Mama went in town and I had to make bed and clean the bedroom. Mama and I had sundaes in Sanders’. I went to library while she had her hair done. We both came around.

We had an intelligence test today. I went to the library alone as Lily couldn’t go. Grandma was sick so I did errands and dinner dishes.

The house is awful smoky. I got excused from showers on account of my ring-worm. Lily and I walked up to Highland Park. Stopped in the Library.

It was quite warm today. Lily went to the library with me after school. Grandma went to the Rosedale tonight. We had the first class of the Junior Health League today.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 1934
Mama went in town. She bought me a darling blue skirt and twin sweater outfit–$4.50. I didn’t get up till noon. Read till 3:30. Mama got a finger wave while I was in the library.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 1934
Nickey’s group and mine are going to give “Rip Van Winkle” in the auditorium. Lily went to the Utley Library with me. I got 2 adult and 2 children’s books. Finished tailor tacks on dress. Grandma made some cookies.

Grandma looked at a place on Herman, and we went there tonight, but it won’t do. Lily went to the library with me. My blouse came from Marion. Blue and white stripes.

Mama had to get up at 6 to get to work at 8. My pajamas are nearly finished. I went to the library tonight alone, as Mary was sick. I have a current events topic.
